How do I install Agilent Anytime onto my computer?
When you click the link to download the Agilent Anytime program from our website, you will usually be presented with a dialog box that will prompt you to either 'Run' or 'Save' the program. Selecting 'Run' will download a file called "Install_Agilent_Anytime.exe' to your computer. Once the program has fully downloaded, it will run automatically. Once the program starts running, follow the on-screen instructions to install.
Selecting 'Save' will prompt you to save the file ' Install_Agilent_Anytime_.exe ' to any location you specify on your computer's hard drive. After choosing the location to save the file to, the file will start downloading. After download is complete, navigate to the location on your computer where you saved the file and double-click it's icon to run the program. Once the program starts running, follow the on-screen instructions to install.
Installing the Agilent Anytime desktop application will create a shortcut on your Windows Desktop called 'Run Agilent Anytime'. If you've closed the Agilent Anytime program, and you'd like to start it again, double-click on the 'Run Agilent Anytime' shortcut on your Desktop.
You can also start the Agilent Anytime desktop application program by clicking on your Windows Start Button and selecting Programs > Agilent Anytime > Run Agilent Anytime.
After installation, do not double-click on the 'Install_Agilent_Anytime.exe' file again to start the program. This file is only used to install the Agilent Anytime desktop program to your system.
What does my Agilent Anytime desktop application do?
Your Agilent Anytime desktop application is a Windows based program that will run on your computer's desktop. It will be updated on a frequent basis with product updates, special offers, local weather, local news, 'fun stuff', etc. Agilent Anytime will alert you of your updates via the system tray icon on your computer.
Is Agilent Anytime available in other languages?
Future versions of Agilent Anytime will be available in other languages such as French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese and Chinese. You will receive an announcement via Agilent Anytime when the new language versions are available. Please continue to enjoy Agilent Anytime in English until these versions are available.
By downloading Agilent Anytime does that mean I have agreed to receive email updates on new products, technical information, seminars and other Agilent news from Agilent Technologies?
Downloading and using Agilent Anytime does not automatically opt
you in to receive email updates from Agilent Technologies. If you would

How can I remove the Agilent Anytime desktop application from my computer?
The Agilent Anytime desktop application is very easy to uninstall.
- Right-click the 'Agilent Anytime icon from your System Tray and
select 'Uninstall' from menu which appears.
OR
- Click on the Settings button located in the lower right hand corner
of within Agilent Anytime and select 'Uninstall' from the menu
which appears.
OR
- From your Windows Start Button, choose Programs > Agilent Anytime
> Uninstall Agilent Anytime.
OR
- From Add and Remove Programs, from your Windows Control Panel.
After uninstalling, only the original program icon called 'Install_Agilent_Anytime.exe' will remain in the location you downloaded it to (in case you wish to install your Agilent Anytime desktop application again). If that will not be the case, you may delete the icon.
How do I know that the Agilent Anytime desktop application does not include a virus?
In order to ensure that the Agilent Anytime desktop application
does not contain a virus, follow these steps:
1. Download it directly from our website and
this will ensure it is virus-free.
2. If you are uncertain about one you have received
in an email, check it with an anti-virus program.
3. It is a good idea not to run anything you
are e-mailed, even if it is from a friend, until you check with them that
they intended to send it to you.
Will the Agilent Anytime desktop application run on Macintosh, UNIX or Linux computers?
The Agilent Anytime desktop application is currently made for computers running on the Windows 98/2000/NT/XP/Vista operating systems.
How do I tell all my friends and colleagues about the Agilent Anytime desktop application?
Just click on the 'Refer a Friend' button 
on the Agilent Anytime user interface. This will bring up a form
where you can send an e-mail to your friends and colleagues. When your friend
receives the e-mail, they will get a link to the website where they can
download the Agilent Anytime desktop application for themselves.
